The couple reported to separate prisons to serve their sentences on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023.

Todd is serving out his sentence at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Pensacola, Fla. Meanwhile, Julie is serving her seven-year prison keep at Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.

Before the couple went to prison, their attorney Alex Little released a statement pronouncing the Chrisleys’ trial was once “marred by way of severe and repeated errors.” Little also said he was once “constructive” that Julie and Todd may appeal their convictions quickly.

Ahead of going to jail, Julie shared that she and her husband weren’t going to let their brief time apart affect their courting.

“There is that possibility of my husband and I being separated. But there is a difference between my husband and I being separated for a time frame and having to say goodbye perpetually," Julie explained to Chase Chrisley’s fiancée, Emmy Medders, on Emmy's podcast in early January 2023. "It nearly makes me really feel ashamed that I'm even frightened. I believe it places things into point of view for me because all of us assume our arduous is the hardest thing."

When will Todd and Julie Chrisley be released from prison?

Todd is scheduled to get out of jail on Jan. 22, 2033 (two years early). As for Julie, her scheduled release date has been set to Oct. 19, 2028 (16 months early), per Fox 5 Atlanta.

USA canceled 'Chrisley Knows Best' and 'Growing Up Chrisley.'

Following their sentencing, Deadline reported that Chrisley Knows Best and its spinoff series, Growing Up Chrisley, were both canceled. Still, the USA Network aired a handful of episodes from the previously renewed 10th season of Chrisley Knows Best in 2023. Additionally, the E! original dating series Love Limo, which was set to be hosted by Todd Chrisley, was scrapped.

Here's an update on Todd and Julie Chrisley amid their time in prison.

In early January 2024, the couple's daughter Savannah Chrisley said that her father was being retaliated against for having spoken out against prison conditions when he did an interview with NewsNation in late 2023.

“The retaliation is real; it’s heartbreaking for me to watch as his daughter," Savannah instructed the same network on Jan. 3, 2024. "But they have even gone to the extent of stating that they will try to ship him to a state facility because our federal institutions cannot guarantee his safety."

In order to transport Todd, however, “they have to seek out something he's in violation of," Savannah explained. The reality TV star is also alleging that the facility has gone to great lengths to try and make this happen by “planting cell phones, drugs, [and] going through his lockers."

But Todd and Julie scored a win in January 2024 after the State of Georgia was once ordered to pay the incarcerated couple $1 million. The Chrisleys had sued the previous Department of Revenue’s director of special investigations, claiming they had been unfairly targeted.
