Most of our favorite speedy food chains had been victims of urban legends, from stories alleging that Taco Bell's meat partially comes from dead horses, to others, corresponding to Burger King serving fake sweet potato fries. Likewise, folklore that McDonald's uses human meat has been prevalent for several years now.

Where does the McDonald's uses human meat urban legend come from?

Apparently, the rumor that McDonald's uses human meat used to be spread via a website called, Huzlers, which posts satire stories, including a work about an Oklahoma City McDonald's restaurant that blended both human and horse meat into their burger patties, in step with Eat This, Not That!. Obviously, the information tale was utterly faux, and ultimately, readers realized they had been fooled.

With that, quite a lot of other people have come to imagine that McDonald's patties are not manufactured from real pork, and to cover that up, the chain supposedly buys its beef provides from a company referred to as 100 Percent Beef. This part of the rumor, on the other hand, was confirmed wrong, as McDonald's is somewhat transparent about sourcing its elements.

What does McDonald's in reality use of their patties though?

Like we mentioned in the past, as an entire, the Golden Arches are lovely open about what they use relating to substances, in addition to who they use as suppliers — on an FAQ page on their website, one consumer, Muhannad requested, "are you using humans meat in the food," and the chain replied with, smartly, the response maximum folks almost definitely expected to hear.

In reaction to the inquiry, McDonald's stated: "Hi Muhannad! We use 100% pure and Halal beef and chicken in our food sourced from approved suppliers who abide by our strict quality, safety and Halal standards. To help you have a clearer picture of what goes into our patties, kindly click on this link which explains the process from farm to tray. Thanks for stopping by!" So that explains it.

Someone supposedly "found" a finger in their Wendy's chili once, however they plated it there.

Although there hasn't been human meat present in McDonald's burgers as of e-newsletter, a 39-year-old woman named Anna Ayala once "found" a finger in her Wendy's chili, back in March 2005. Supposedly, in line with New York Times, she used to be consuming at a San Jose, Calif. location, when she "unexpectedly" found out human remains in her meals.  

However, the finger in the chili turned out to be a hoax — it seems that, the lacking appendage belonged to a colleague of Anna's husband... which is lovely disgusting, if you happen to ask us.

We're actually relieved that McDonald's is not the use of human meat of their burger patties, or else the Big Macs we are selecting up this weekend would glance lovely nasty. Needless to say, don't consider the entirety you learn on the web. Some of it might in fact be "fake news."
