Eddie Saville on A Million Little Things is a complicated persona — to say the least. Eddie is a recovering alcoholic who's been working on his issues whilst seeking to stay his marriage to Katherine alive. While Eddie stops consuming, he ends up dishonest on Katherine with their mutual friend Delilah. While it can be said that Eddie has a excellent heart and that he loves his son (and sure, he does love Katherine), he's were given demons.
At the top of Season 2, issues seem like they might be looking up for Eddie in addition to Katherine. Eddie is at a bar, and he orders a shot from the bartender. This is a situation he’s dealt with in the past, so he recognizes it and he’s terrified. And I think Eddie believes he’s going to lose everything, his entire family, because of what just happened," he says.
Unfortunately for Eddie and Katherine, Eddie feels like he wishes to hide his painkiller dependancy from her as a result of he thinks if she unearths out he is using (even though it in point of fact is for pain), she'll depart him. "The biggest breach of trust was that he lied to her. Eddie finally ends up going to rehab, where he recovers — however he and Katherine don't.
A Million Little Things is undoubtedly no longer scared of appearing hard and uncomfortable issues. Whether it is habit, racism, or betrayal, the display doesn't hold again. We'll see what's in store for the characters next season.
