Sadly, Cutie Pie reportedly died on June 19, 2020.

"It's with a very heavy heart I've to announce the passing of my best friend my liked Cutie Pie," Josh announced via Instagram at the time. "I have never hardly taken a step without her within the 17 years that we spent in combination or will have to I say may just hardly take a step that Cutie Pie wasn't faithfully by means of my side."

The bereaved dog proprietor persevered, "She was my easiest buddy she had been in every single place the United States with me. Cutie Pie survived a snake bite in 2017. 

Several seasons ago, Cutie Pie almost died after getting bit by a snake while exploring a possible still site with Josh, who had to rush her to the nearest veterinarian office.

"The means she's breathing is just freaking me the f–k out, man" Josh said during the scary experience. "She's stiff as a board. I'm afraid she'll have a center assault as laborious as she's respiring." 

Cutie Pie was able to make full recovery. However, that was not Cutie Pie's first near-death experience. In 2013, she was stung by a bee, but Josh was able to pull the stinger from her paw. We have a feeling Cutie Pie was right there by Josh's side following his scary motorcycle accident in March 2018.

"Josh was in a damage, but is OK. Broke nose, ribs, collapsed lung, lost the remainder of his already amputated finger but not in rapid risk now," an update on Facebook read. "Will submit more info when it turns into to be had. Please respect his privateness presently and let him get better in peace." Another update followed: "Josh is still recovering, the ribs and punctured lung are taking some time to heal. He appreciates all the fear and messages."

Josh reassured fans he would be back on his bike soon, presumably with Cutie Pie right on the front seat. "Josh would like to thank everybody for all of the help he has received from his fanatics, the good people within the biker group," he wrote. "As soon as he can put his leg over a motorcycle he is again at it. He is again shining as smartly, convalescing at the beach." 

In the past, Josh has gushed about his sidekick Cutie Pie.

"Cutie Pie she's all the time there for me," he said on the show. "She's unquestionably my sidekick. If other people had been more like canine, the arena would be a greater place." He has also opened up about Cutie Pie's biking skills, adding, "She jumped right on up the Harley and stood proper up on the tank similar to she belonged there. And when we were given to the first curb she roughly leaned into the curve and I knew it was intended to be. So we rode all day that day… It was the funniest thing ever."
