Music legend Johnny Pacheco (real identify Juan Azarías Pacheco Knipping), who's credited with bringing salsa tune to international popularity, died on Feb. 15, 2021, at the age of 85. The late composer was once born in the Dominican Republic, and he moved together with his musically-inclined parents to New York City when he used to be 11.
