What came about to Max Thieriot’s leg on 'SEAL Team'?

Clay used to be ambushed in a haunting assault and ended up shedding his leg as a result.

His leg used to be amputated after doctors discovered an an infection creating whilst he used to be staying in the health center. In the show, Clay is already doing the entirety he can to learn how to stroll again the use of a prosthetic leg replacement. Although Max is enjoying a character who has an amputated leg on SEAL Team, he is not an actual amputee in real life. A quick scroll thru Max's Instagram displays both of his legs when he's browsing, fishing, taking part in with his dogs, spending time with his kids, and extra.

Max Thieriot has so much to say about the transformation of his body.

While there’s no reality to Max having an amputated leg in real lifestyles, there is a lot to mention about the five-year frame transformation he underwent for his role on the display. He shared a photo thread on Instagram appearing off just how a lot his physique modified from before he began filming SEAL Team up to Season 5.

The caption he added said, “The paintings doesn’t stop when you go away set. I have driven myself mentally and bodily for this TV show. I’ve literally bled for it more than once. Many things in existence are beyond your regulate … bodily being in shape isn't! Took me five years to get the place I am.”

He went on to explain that seeing Ryan Phillippe on the duvet of Men’s Health Magazine stood as an enormous inspiration to him to get in shape. Ryan's quilt was a tipping level for him to begin hitting the health club and that specialize in making improvements to his well being and well-being.

He continued his caption saying, “At the time I believed [Ryan] looked great and determined I, too, may just seem like that and be on that cover. I consider I’ve achieved part of my function.
