Things have never been simple for Shavel and Quaylon on Life After Lockup. But now, in Season 5B, they're much more complicated, because the couple tries to plan a wedding with warring households. And in an exclusive clip forward of the Dec. 1 episode of Life After Lockup, Shavel opens up to her pal about feeling beaten with the entirety.
Shavel and Quaylon were on Life After Lockup two years in the past and since then, they cut up up and got back together. Now, issues are pretty critical and they are planning a wedding while Quaylon prepares to undertake Shavel's daughter. By all accounts, things will have to be the most efficient they've even been for the pair. Unfortunately, their families nonetheless have a large number of paintings to do in terms of getting along.

Shavel and Quaylon were through so much on 'Life After Lockup.'
Before Season 5B of Life After Lockup, Shavel went during the trauma of a space fireplace. Quaylon used to be there to help her pick out up the pieces and they quickly grew closer once more. Shavel explains in the Life After Lockup clip that Quaylon totally grew to become issues around, which resulted of their engagement. But there are nonetheless issues to hash out.

"The main concern is, it's been, like, so overwhelming with our families," Shavel admits to her good friend. "The last time they seen each other, they had an altercation. So I don't know if the words are gonna [be] exchanged again."
She adds to producers that her circle of relatives and Quaylon's circle of relatives "don't like each other." And, it kind of feels, no person is able to approve of the marriage.

Are Shavel and Quaylon married now?
It's laborious to mention for sure if Shavel and Quaylon are married now, after Life After Lockup. However, judging by means of Instagram, they are still in combination, despite the problems they face with their families ceaselessly butting heads. In November 2023, Shavel shared an Instagram post with a choice of videos about Quaylon and a caption that spoke volumes about the place they stand now.
"I'm Proud of all your accomplishments. I can't wait for the world to see all the great projects you got coming," she wrote within the caption. "This has been a long journey for the both of us. We been tested and made it through the ups and downs and not giving up."

In a Thanksgiving post Shavel made after that, she still had a hoop on her wedding ceremony band finger. So even though Shavel and Quaylon aren't yet married, they're nonetheless together.
