Season 15 of ‘Naked and Afraid’ was in part filmed in northern New Mexico and South America.
According to KRQE, Naked and Afraid producers made up our minds to take part in Season 15 on the west coast — in particular, New Mexico. The season premiere shines a light on a survival mission in rural San Miguel County’s Sabinoso region, which is situated an hour away from Las Vegas.
According to the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management, the Sabinoso wasteland region is composed of “a sequence of prime, narrow mesas surrounded by means of cliff-lined canyons” located in “a faraway space in the “northeastern portion of New Mexico.”
Additionally, the Sabinoso area is alleged to have a “deep canyon space, surrounded by the wide-open New Mexico plains,” which is unique for the region.

However, New Mexico is only one piece of the puzzle relating to filming for Season 15. Viewers can expect to see production happen in South America, as neatly.

‘Naked and Afraid’ Season 15 will feature Kami Elsisie, a paramedic from Albuquerque, N.M.
Fans of Naked and Afraid have a lot to sit up for with Season 15. The season is ready to polish a gentle on a major first, with two foreigners tasked with surviving in the U.S. for 21 days whilst naked and dealing with “unpredictable temperatures, unfamiliar terrain, and rattlesnakes,” per Discovery.
Not to say, different land animals too can pose a danger to their contestants' survival methods.

Many people are speaking about Kami Elsisie, a paramedic from New Mexico who is able to show off her ability to adapt and live on beneath questionable cases.
In Season 15, Kami and her spouse, Justin Governale, have been tasked with surviving Guyana. Per Country Reports, Guyana is known for having faraway forests, flat swampy terrain, mountainous areas, rolling highlands, and a low coastal plain.

“Going on Naked and Afraid, it used to be something I wasn’t going to turn down,” Kami advised the Albuquerque Journal. “It’s a problem. You have to conform to your setting and you live with any individual you simply barely met. It pushes you from your convenience zone.”
Interestingly, Kami shared that while she’s now not sport for dealing with Guyana’s climate and pesky mosquitos once more, the enjoy was once eye-opening.
“Would I wish to return to the jungle and get tens of hundreds of bug bites,” she asks. “No. But I might return and experience one thing like this once more. There have been highs and lows and a lot I discovered about myself.”
