Before her break from the church, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay had the quintessential Mormon existence, particularly because her ex-husband is Mormon royalty.
“I am a purebred, pedigreed, pioneer Mormon,” she stated on the show. “I married a Mormon man, I had three Mormon daughters, every descendant in our line is Mormon.”
But now that she is divorced and segueing into Bravo stardom, Heather is redefining her life. Here are the main points of her marriage, her family life, and her subsequent chapter.

“I married into a family of extreme wealth,” Heather informed audience, before explaining the connection between her husband’s family and Howard Hughes, the Twentieth-century trade mogul.
“Howard Hughes comes in, hires my grandfather-in-law as his motive force and henchman,” she printed. “Howard Hughes liked the Mormons, and when he handed, the Gay family inherited an enormous portion of his estate. The Gay circle of relatives is value billions, so I basically married into Mormon royalty.”
She and her ex went through a difficult divorce.
Heather and her ex had been married for Eleven years before their split. “It all came crashing down after we were given divorced 5 years in the past,” she added at the show. “In the Mormon church, divorce isn't an option.”
Now, Heather has distanced herself from the church, in step with her Bravo bio, and calls herself “Mormon-ish” and a “good Mormon gone bad.”
She talked about the painful break up in a recent Page Six interview. “I didn’t know how to serve as. I’m still having an excessively, very tough time,” she said. “I didn’t know anyone that was once Mormon and divorced and single and glad. I both had to get remarried or redefine my complete lifestyles. I had three little kids and I didn’t understand how to do it and nobody gave me any guidance.”
Heather has custody of the former couple’s youngster daughters.
Heather not too long ago informed Bustle that she and her three daughters — Ashley, 17, Georgia, 14, and Annabelle, 13 — are like “the 4 Musketeers.”
“They’re one hundred % supportive and sort of caretake me up to I’m their mother,” she added.
Heather has full custody of their children, however her ex “completely” supports the circle of relatives financially, she mentioned. Or, to put it differently, “Our co-parenting is, I do the paintings, and he pays the bills.”
The ‘RHOSLC’ star is on the lookout for love.
