Spencer Shemwell Shares the Tragic Story of His First Wife on 'The Blended Bunch'

The story of how Spencer and Erica Shemwell of TLC's The Blended Bunch first met is entirely real, despite the fact that it sounds like a plot lifted from a movie or TV display. After their respective spouses gave up the ghost, they met in a web based toughen staff for grieving widowers.

Spencer describes the day of his wife's demise as being a really perfect time out with the family. He took the day without work of labor and everybody slept in. Erica and Tony met in their sophomore year of college in 2007 and got married a 12 months later. They had their first child, Landon, a 12 months later in 2008. Shortly after he was born, however, Tony was once diagnosed with most cancers at simply 23 years old. Still, both he and Erica persevered. They finished their degrees and Tony become a trainer.
