In ‘The Legend of Vox Machina,’ we meet Delilah Briarwood, whose voice sounds acquainted. Who is the voice actor behind Lady Briarwood?

Some of the largest villains all the way through Critical Role’s Vox Machina marketing campaign are the Briarwoods. Now, in The Legend of Vox Machina, we finally meet Delilah and Sylas, who we’re positive are going to wreak some havoc. But sooner than they are able to get to messing with our heroes, and all of Tal’Dorei, we now have some questions on Delilah Briarwood.

In Critical Role, Delilah is one of the most constant villains all the way through the quest. She has no hesitations in relation to drawing on darkish magic to get what she wants and has time and again brought about different individuals of Vox Machina to stand the chance of dying. And in The Legend of Vox Machina, there’s no higher individual to play her than the voice actor tasked with bringing Delilah Briarwood to lifestyles.

The voice actor behind Delilah Briarwood in ‘The Legend of Vox Machina’ is Grey DeLisle-Griffin.

Because Delilah Briarwood is an NPC (Non-Player Character) in the original Vox Machina Dungeons and Dragons campaign in Critical Role, there was once an opportunity to deliver in a significant voice actor to painting her in the new Amazon Prime collection.

And they needed to get anyone who is aware of learn how to play a villain. In the authentic quest, Delilah does whatever she can to convey her husband, Sylas, again to life. In doing so, she calls upon darkish magic to transform Sylas into a vampire.

But that’s no longer enough for them — together, Delilah and Sylas Briarwood kill the whole de Rolo circle of relatives to take over keep watch over of Whitestone. In doing so, they rule Whitestone with a harsh fist, retaining a space full of undead servants.

When they first meet Vox Machina, our celebration of heroes is aware of what’s up, and tries to carry them down. But after their first battle, it’s clear that the Briarwoods are going to be so much of bother for Vox Machina all the way through to “The Final Ascent.”

So, we expect that Delilah Briarwood will probably be a big section of The Legend of Vox Machina going forward. This means that she must be played through an absolute expert — and it seems that that professional is Grey DeLisle-Griffin, who many recognize as the voice of Azula in Avatar: The Last Airbender.

So why is Grey DeLisle-Griffin the absolute best individual to voice Delilah Briarwood? Well, she is the recognizable voice behind Azula, one of the largest villains in Avatar: The Last Airbender.

We first meet Princess Azula when she tries to trick her brother, Prince Zuko, into thinking his father wants him again in the Fire Nation. This sets Zuko off on a adventure of self-discovery (that we fully strengthen), but causes Azula to descend further into evil. By the finish of the collection, she completely unravels, unable to discern what’s essential.

Like Lady Delilah, Azula ends up becoming her actions, leaving behind all motivation behind those actions. But Azula isn’t Grey’s best notable voice function. After doing a little song and stand-up comedy, Grey learned she had a penchant for impressions, and began voice performing.

Plus, no longer best did Grey voice Azula in Avatar, but she was once of path welcomed back to The Legend of Korra, in which she voiced Ming-Hua, amongst other roles. So for fanatics of myths and legends, we are more than happy to listen to her in The Legend of Vox Machina.
